It's been long since we've done this
You've gotten used to it
I remember the days we'd talk about it all day,
Even take a chunk of the night too
Never cared if it was hot or cool
The talks we had about how we'd fight to the end
The assurances and reassurances
You said you'd never sell out
Look at you now
Look at how your colours have changed
Exchanging your uniform for one of evil
The ones we used to call enemies, you gladly call fellow
Fellow, can't you see you've joined the fellowship of evil
I'm not here to condemn you or bring you shame
But I simply want to remind you of your name
Just stop for a second, take a look in the mirror
And remember the day you chose a new name
Renounced your past and cast away it's shame
Was this what we were fighting for
You've gotten used to it
You've gotten used to the ill gotten gains
Snatched from the mouths of hungry souls
You've gotten used to feeding of the pain
Of mothers, father's and their starving children
Everybody does it you say
No thought of its effects
I'm asking you to look back to the golden days
When we set out together to fight this
Before they stuffed buns in your mouth
And got you too occupied with eating your ill gotten gains
That you did not see yourself become
The same monster we sought out to fight
